However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps: For extended protection, apply protective cream, easily available in stores, to your metal furniture. If your furniture is processed and painted with powder-coating, it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth. If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, you need to be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers and, if possible, place them indoors during winter.
